Paragliding

Draper home of the world famous Paragliding at the Point of the Mountain. For the past 3 years we have had the worlds best Home Teacher, also owner and head instructor at Utah Paragliding. Check him out http://www.utahparagliding.com/. As one of the last memories and hurrah in draper this last Monday he took me paragliding. It was awesome. We did this really sharp turn, which in turns makes it so you have a moment of weightlessness, it was the best part. But a close second was the feeling when you go close to the mountain and like buzz it. It reminded me of watching ski movies when the helicopter, buzzes the skiers on the top of the mountain, anything that reminds you of skiing you should do again.

Draper Home

I feel as if I have strayed away from home. For the past 3 years we have been living in Draper, Utah. We sold our home this last week and are headed back to Sandy. The end goal is Alta, so anything closer then Draper is going to work. We purchased this home from Auction, so you go down to the court house and bid on the home you want, and then you have to close within 24 hours. Well, I looked at the home after Cliff went to work in Ogden for the day, and signed the paperwork before he got home. A little bit of pressure spending so much money without Cliff seeing the home before the deal was done.
We really worked out tails off on this home. Including-Finishing a punch list, putting in a yard, sprinkling system, new kitchen, paint, new floors, put 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms and huge family room in the basement, redid all the utilities into the home, knocking down a shack- I figure we put $100,000.00 into the home, including thousands of hours of time. In the process we fell in love with the home.

This is where we brought Bode home to, that alone somehow made it a home, instead of just a house. Thanks Draper, we are happy and sad to see you go!
