Costa Rica

Last week Cliff & I had the opportunity to visit Jaco, Costa Rica for a week. Granny Kathryn and Grandpa Val took the Bodster. They are the best... thanks for doing that Mom & Dad!!!

Keri thought the trip would be a great break from being a full time accountant and a full time mom. By about day three she just wanted to be a full time mom again. It is amazing how kids change your life. She even looked into coming home a day early. Bode ended up going to St. George with is grandparents and did not get home until after we did. I thought Keri was going to drive down to meet them halfway. It was like waiting for Christmas when you were a kid, waiting for our little boy to get home. We love you Bode and can't wait until you are old enough to enjoy a trip like this.

The is the zip line tour... awesome very fun, especially compared to the Park City zip line...

We also surfed everyday, or at least tried to. We took a lesson the first day which helped a lot and spent the rest of the week practicing. We could only surf for about two hours until our arms couldn't paddle fast enough to catch a wave anymore.
The Scenery was gorgeous, Always every way you looked.

This is Cliff seeing if he should have been Tarzan for a living instead of a Civil Engineer... yip should have been a Engineer not Tarzan. Cliff thinks it is funner to be Tarzan and the skill could be learned.

Cliff at a small waterfall at Manual Antonio Park
Same Waterfall

Look closely you will see me in the bottom of this picture sitting on a gigantic rock by a huge waterfall west of Jaco.

Hiking in Manual Antonio Park

Trying to cool off unfortuantely the water is not very cold.

Swim at the beach not in the rivers.

Little fella

Iguanas are everywhere.

We saw monkey's almost everyday!!

If you notice some of the beaches are white sand, while others are black....

As you can see the beaches were always packed. Just like Cliff likes it.

Skiing November 12

This morning me and my dad went back country skiing. November 12th the earliest I have ever made turns. 6 or 7 inches of power.. the good news, we remembered how!! Man I love skiing, during the summer, somehow I forgot how much I really do. I also need to tell granny kathryn she is the best. Thanks for always taking care of Bode, so I can still play!! Thanks MOM!!

Walking & Stairs

For the past two weeks we have been walking more then Crawling. In the last 6 days, since we moved to the new house and have stairs, he also learned stairs. It is so fun to watch him, he turns around backwards at the top and comes down two stairs, he then gets so excited, cause he know he did it and starts to waive his hands in the air.. that is when you get scared about him falling.
This is a video of him walking at 10 months.

1st Black Eye

One of Bode favorite things used to be to act like he was driving the truck. Last Monday, he was playing with the steering wheel on cliff's truck, I opened the back door, and started to get his car seat ready, and he took a head dive to the concrete. His eye immediately was swollen shut. The poor little guy has had a hard week, new home, so hard to sleep and now he is in pain.
He still was able to smile about the snow as well! He must be my child!!

Denver Broncos. Wyoming Cowboys & the Boys

We moved on Friday and Sat morning bright and early I flew to Denver with my brothers and Dad to see some football. I loved it and rightfully so. First Robert Linford vacation since Lake Powell when I was about 10. Keri was a real trooper to let me go with a house that was full of boxes. It looked a lot better by the time I got home. My timing was great! Of course now I get to make it up to her for a while. Good news the cowboys won but the broncos lost.

Sandy... We are Back!

We recently moved to Sandy. Our new address is 9052 Wagner Circle, it is approximately 2450 east. We are right off of New Castle and happy to be here. As a welcome present it snowed 12 inches in our front yard and I couldn't have been happier, 15 min from Alta. Things we love about the house- right off the front door a cherry wood office, two shower heads and body washer in the master shower, ice maker that makes small ice, the circle... No TRAFFIC, 3 car garage and a car port that the boat and jeep fit under, and no remodeling we finally got a nice home! We sold all the furniture with the old house so we don't have a table or couch. But we feel at home, the neighbors are so kind and nice, they shoveled my drive way... We invite all of our friends to stop by and say hi!
