Summer Fun
The annual powell trip is almost here! We figured Bode needed to learn to hold on before he could wakeboard, so we got him a kneeboard. He played on it in the front yard for a couple of hours. I think he is ready!

The Kids love the new sand box.

Granny Kathryn knew I had a busy and stressful day. She showed up and took the kids to the Zoo. Everytime Bode goes to the Zoo the Tiger loves him. The tiger came under the log and up to the glass to see Bode. It is all he can talk about. Then he got to ride the Tiger on the Carousel. Thanks for a fun memory granny!

Growing Pains.. or Smiles?
Ryders new favorite thing is to attack Bode in the wrestle. Bode attacked him the other day, not so lightly and Ryder loved it! He acted like it was the 1st time Bode had ever given him is attention and he soaked it all up. Laughs everywhere!! So now Ryder attacks Bode whenever he gets the chance. It is fun to see the boys interact together.
Everyday, cliff leaves for work Bode says over and over "Daddy, work?".. So the other day I take the boys hiking. Bode is getting to be an excellent hiker and loves it. Especially the reward of throwing rocks at the end. Well this particular hike we saw a snake... I hate snakes so of course I screamed and ran away.. then trying to be a good mom, I took Bode's hand back and showed him the snake, and found a long stick.. more then six feet long to get the snake on.. Well Bode and I continued up the trail, and Bode keeps looking back, Bode what is wrong? Bode was worried the snake was going to get us.. No Bode it went away, it is not going to get us. Bode looked up at me and said "Snake, Work?"... Yip I guess so Bode!
By the end of the hike we saw 4 snakes and I was getting more and more freaked out. When we got home, Cliff made it certain his son was not scared of snakes, and now I have a two year old running at me with his arm like a snake, making snake noises laughing... Thanks a lot Cliff...
Bode has finally figured out his age. We tease him and he always say " Bode two not six, Bode not six!" This week he has learned how to do a bum on the tramp and then land on his feet. He is very excited that he can "feet, bum, feet" and he expects you to clap when he does it.
