Yesterday, was the day of the decade. Cliff, Dad and I got up early, the web was saying 8 inches of snow, although the weather was reporting something big. We drove to Snowbird hoping for the best. As we pulled into the parking lot the parking lot attendant informed, us that they did not think the lifts would open and that they were going to be interlogded to they could bomb for avalanches. You had to be indoors, they also were planning on closing the canyon and it was going to be closed for 24 hours. With this we quickly turned around and drove to Solitude. As the day progressed the turns got better and better. 18-23 inches of happiness, RUN after RUN of knee deep bliss. We skied to we couldn't ski anymore... Yesterday was a top 2 day... I would like to thank the man upstairs, he know my needs! I would also like to thank my mom... WOW! She has gone above the call of duty, thanks for taking care of me and bode! We love you!
Ski every turn as if it is your last. It just may be! Yesterday, we did!!! The heavens opened and poured out buckets of love! Go big or go home, we charged all day.
