Ford Passing

Last week one of my dearest friends and cousins dad passed away. 11 years ago Ford Reeder was told diagnosed with Colon Cancer and was told he had 6 months to live. 11 years later he passed. Many of you probably noticed a few weeks back a post about Reeder getting married. Well, 11 years ago Ford was given a blessing that he would live to see his children raised. Well apparently Reeder getting married was the fulfillment of this blessing. How sad to have your Uncle, or Dad or Friend or anyone, pass away. We love you Ford. Reeder, I love you and am here for you! Mom I am so sorry about your brother, what a blessing that we believe in life after death.

Friends...

"Bode who is your best friend", we asked him yesterday? "Is it chase, Jakob, Emmy, Seth?"
"No, silly it is my brother Ryder."
We rearranged the bedrooms yesterday, and Ryder has a bed in Bode's room. He cannot wait for him to sleep in it.

Halloween

Bode could not decide what he wanted to be this year. Everyday of the week it was something different. Cow, Dragon, Tigger, Lion... Trick or Treating was fun. We tired to push ryder in the stroller, but Ryder, knew what was going on, he would wiggle out of the stroller, and run to each door. If he was a little slow, Bode would say" I need a treat for my brother." then he would bring it back and give it to him. It is fun to see him look after his little brother.

1st Snow of the Year..

"Mom, Look, Hurray, I am so excited" It was 7:00 in the morning and Bode had been out of bed for maybe two minutes. I came running down the stairs and he opens the front door. " Want to play with me in it mommy? Shall we." At that moment I could not think of anything better. One of my favoites things and my son was excited about it as I was. A few minutes later, he asked if we could go skiing. A boy with from my own heart! Yes son lets go. By 9 we had no snow left at our house and had moved to the neighbors. Precious memories!

Round Up.. Tyghee

We went to Star Valley to help round up the cows. Bode rode a horse the entire way. 7 hours on a horse. We rode over to tyghee, with the adults. When we got their he was getting a little antsy. But then we found the cows and the other kids.. He was no longer tired. Grandpa said he is the youngest kid to make the entire trip. 2 years old, and you will have to pry him from his horse. How fun it was to see the kids watch the animals and interact with the grandparents.
