How time flies, today was the 9 month check up. 20 pounds 2 ounces-39%, height we are 28 inches 34%..today cliff's dreams of a seven foot basketball player went down the drain. We have 6 teeth, we crawls FAST, he only wants food with texture, if you puree it-he will not eat it. We stand in the middle of the room, and walk very well around the furniture. He loves his binky and blanky, which he is only allowed to have in bed. In a quiet room(sacrament) he thinks he should talk LOUD! He loves to wrestle with his dad, he gets excited when he comes home from work, and crawls to the door when he leaves, like "take me". Cliff thinks he has said "dada" but I think he was just babbling... He can make every room in the entire house looks like a hurricane hit in under 10 minutes. Today I came home late, and Cliff and Bode were reading Dr. Seuss on the floor. Some memories I hope never leave. Walks in the stroller, used to put him to sleep, now he thinks their is to much to see, and gets excited. He loves riding on your back in his pack, while you do anything but sit at the computer.. not a good idea. He likes riding in the Jeep, with his new car seat that looks forward.
We can tell that he wants to walk soon so he can learn to ski with Heather, it is all about having a buddy.

2 steps
Bode just took two steps without holding onto anything, he has been standing in the middle of the room by himself for 15-20 seconds several times a day. But today we start the voyage of walking. Both Cliff and I saw it, we both looked up from the computer and he was walking towards us! His dad walked at 9 months and I am sure Bode will as well.

August Powell Trip
We just got home from Powell again. We almost didn't go work and home stuff have been so crazy, but we decided we needed a break to try and calm all the storms.. and man was it fun!!
Bode is getting so much more interactive. He belly boarded, got up early and played on the beach. I almost cleared the wake toe side on the wake board, skied till I could no longer hold on, knee boarded for the 1st time, and barefooted off the boom.
The video above that looks like water flying everywhere is Cliff Bare footing on a 60 foot line going between 38-40 miles an hour. This is very hard to do, and you have to have a certain amount of stupidity to even try. Although Dave and Cliff love it. Imagine the crash going that fast..

Linford's Moved to Utah
Matt & Heather moved to Utah, and we are so excited. Cliff has not lived near family since he moved out 12 years ago. I have been really bad at taking pictures but we have done so many fun things from hanging out at the lake, to rock climbing, to hitting a bucket of balls, watching the Olympics or just shooting the shit. They lived with us for a few short days while they were trying to find a home.. But now that have located themselves in HAPPY VALLEY. We feel really blessed to have them close for the next 16 months.
