We are on the move.... we have been on the move for the last 3 or 4 days. It doesn't seem that he crawls to get around the house, but he crawls to stand. His head has to be bruised, due to crawling to the couch, and then trying to walk away... His little knees are red from crawling down the hall. 7 1/2 months.. watch out here he comes!!

Star Valley-24th of July
For the 24th we went up to see Grandma & Grandpa Linford. It was nice to get out of the heat, and enjoy the scenery for a few days. Cliff loves to go home to his stomping grounds and relax. I think Bode's favorite part is the constant attention from the grandparents and watching the dog and horses. Cliff is trying to prepare me that I am going to have to have a dog soon...
This image was taken on an unnamed lake on the 24th around 1ish... This is the number 1 reason I like Wyoming... Ski, Ski, Ski, and then when you can Ski no more, sit around and wait for the water to get rough...it didn't happen while we were in town. Cliff would attribute it to "good clean livin'..."

Keri..come on you can hold on for 6 more... Please notice all the boats, and rough water.....Jason and Luke on the Tube, it was fun to play with Cliff's Cousins for the day! McKenzie, Jason's Daughter up on ski's for the 1st time. She did awesome! The Hiking was incredible. The views and wild flowers were spectacular... This was a glacier lake looking across swift creek. That is cliff sitting on a point in the Dry Creek side looking down into the top of Swift Creek...
The drop off below that ledge was a couple hundred feet. Cliff says when he hunts with Joe, they camp down in the bottom of that canyon, and then at 4 am Joe gets him up and they basically run up on of those gullies across the way so they can be at the top at 6.
This is the lake at the top of Dry Creek.. doesn't look to dry to me? Wyoming people, I have no idea how they come up with the names... Keri & Bode enjoying being outside and the fresh air.
Keri & Bode resting on the top..
Cliff trying to decide if we can walk across this razor edge. In the end we did and it was pretty cool!
Father like son, both handsome and both being excited that they get to play in the dirt....

Crest Trail
At some point you begin to wonder if you still got it. I still do.. I still got it. I may be getting older,30 is just around the corner, I don't look as good as I used to... but I made Puke Pass... formally known as Scott's Pass. But if you have ever ridden it you know Puke Pass fits much better.
The gang at the top, except Reeder!

Bode 7 Month Pictures
At 7 months we have 3 teeth and one more on the way. He sits by himself very well. He can go from sitting to the crawling position-up on all 4's. But he doesn't crawl. He moves backwards, he turns circle while sitting. He rolls easily. He doesn't know how to sit still at all!! He loves to empty out the toy drawer then we fill it, and he starts over. He loves the Johnny Jump Up ALOT !! At this age he loves Cheerios, when he sees them coming he starts getting so excited. Wow wish that could last forever. We are now supporting and contributing to the binky industry... Don't for get it... you will need it!! Occasionally, when you hold him tight in your arms with a binky and a blanky and don't allow him to move he will fall asleep, and that is what I enjoy the most!! Time flies that was the fastest 7 months of my life.. Enjoy every moment!! I love you Bode!!

Lone Peak
This last weekend we hiked to Lone Peak- Keri, Cliff, Mom & Dad... Mom hiked to the meadow and waited, while the other 3 of us summited and messed around. Cliff feels as if everything is better with a Mountain Dew... Cliff enjoying a Dew on the top.
We wanted to hike a different way down then we went up. When it takes you longer to hike down then it did going up you know you have a problem...All I can say is I never want to see Bear Canyon or Little Willow or Cherry Canyon or whatever that canyon was again... The problem being I am not sure what the canyon was called we were in, it seems to be different on every map. I will always cherish the memories I make with my mom and Dad. I am so glad they still play with us!!

4th of July Weekend-Paulsen Party
Since I was a little girl I can always remember being in the Granite Parade. Still to this day we like to get together and try and think of something new for the Parade. We had a great time this year. All of us got together for the day and partied. Even though we live so close we rarely get all together and do something REALLY fun. Dave came up with the idea, and it went over really well. It was a little kayo tic, and I think only Whitney and maybe Sam came out with road rash, all in all total success.......Trying to get ready.... I think in total we had 11 ski ropes off the back of the boat...
So the Jeep towed the boat, the boat had all the kids in it throwing candy with tons of squirt guns, then 11 people hanging on the boat with ski ropes with some kind of wheels giving out otter pops. The rope mess...Dave was being pulled on a tub, WAY behind the rest of us. He was sitting on a dolly. By the end of the parade, the dolly no longer had wheels, and Dave was smoking from the metal on the asphalt.... It was hilarious... Sorry about your dolly dad...Keri & Jed getting ready for the parade.Whit getting ready.... do you remember how to use those roller blades???That is Brad Harr... I posted this one for you Marta!! xoxo
Following the parade we went up the Tram had lunch, and hiked-slid the glacier down...Nothing like a little Ice Burn on your hands while trying to slow down before you hit the rocks at the bottom. I will never forget trying to stop in the middle of the glacier field, right off the top of the cirque, while I had Bode on my back.. Hold on little guy, hope this isn't the ride of your life.....
Dad and Sara!! To finish off the weekend, we went wake boarding. And it was really smooth...
Jakob, when you grow up I am going to try and not tease you about your pink life vest!!
So you can either ride, drive or hold the kids... take your pick. You'll get a chance to do them all!! And that is why we love family!!
